On Display From May 11, 2021 to June 12, 2021

The Art “Hang-In” Concept = All artwork will be “hung” as it comes in the door. Art will be “Hung” or placed in approximate order of arrival, hence the term “Hang-In”! Three-dimensional artwork will be displayed on tables, pedestals or enclosed vitrines as they come in the door. We will have a two day “hang-in” on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to NOON, 1:00 PM to 4:00PM and Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to NOON, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We will close from NOON to 1:00 PM each day so staff can have a break and go to lunch! If you are unable to get your art to the Museum on Friday or Saturday, special appointments for Sunday, May 9th can be arranged. The art will then be on display for four weeks from Tuesday, May 11, 2021 through Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Important Instructions & Information

Fill out a Registration Form for each art piece. Please feel free to make share this link or make copies of the Registration Form and the Loan Agreement for family, friends or students who you think would like to participate. The Registration Forms include the information that will be needed to create the labels that will accompany your art piece. Please be as thorough as possible to convey the message you want visitors to know about you or your art so everyone can enjoy them.

HINT: If you are using Adobe Acrobat, click the Fill & Sign format to fill in the Registration Form and save it to your computer as the title of the piece. Do this for each art piece you want to exhibit. You can then email those forms to us attachments.

Please make sure you title each art piece!! Information to include in the “Story behind the piece” would be; why you chose to make this piece out of this particular media or why you chose to use this technique; what were you feeling when you creating it; why you chose this subject matter; was this the first time you chose this media or technique or do you predominately use the same for everything you create; do you do any other type of art; did you have a specific teacher or mentor that really changed your art and if so, is that represented in this piece, etc. Please attach a separate piece of paper if necessary.

An example of what to include in the “Description of Artwork”: Stone building reflecting shadows of surrounding trees – main interest is the old door with the stained-glass window. Technique should be descriptions such as: acrylic paint, watercolor, scratch board, ink, marker, colored pencil, etc.
